Even though it may seem as if a man at a market stand in Marrakesh and a woman working an ice cream truck in New York have little in common at first glance, closer inspection reveals that they are connected by more than being salespeople. A glimpse behind clichées and prejudice – from a bird’s eye view to close-up encounters: these are touching and inspiring moments that I not only cherish as a photographer and capture on camera, but that I also want to share with you.

DE - Was mich an meinen zahlreichen Reisen als Pilot abgesehen von den unterschiedlichsten Kulturen und Naturwundern besonders fasziniert? Die Menschen!
Auch wenn ein Kioskverkäufer aus Marrakesch und eine Eiswagen-Betreiberin aus New York auf Anhieb nichts gemein zu haben scheinen, verbindet sie bei genauerem Hinschauen mehr, als nur ihr bunter Warenstand.
Ein Blick hinter klischee- und vorurteilsbehaftete Vorhänge - von der Vogelperspektive bis zu hautnahen Begegnungen: Allesamt sind es für mich berührende und bereichernde Momente, die ich als Fotograf nicht nur festhalten, sondern gerne mit euch teilen möchte.
